Social Norms around Domestic Violence and Physical Punishment of Children

DOTS has conducted a qualitative research on social norms around domestic violence, peer violence and physical punishment of children for UNICEF office in Kosovo.

The quality assessment explored social norms that influence domestic violence and physical punishment among Albanian, Serbian, Roma, Ashkali and Egyption communities in Kosovo.

Both these phenomena were explored both in terms of the general perception and overarching themes across groups, as well as disaggregated in sub-groups, including, but not limited, to ethnic background, gender, age group, civic status, family composition, and alike.
